Extraction is the process or act of removing a tooth or tooth parts. Some extractions can be removed easily (like loose baby teeth) whereas others require more time and complex surgical techniques. For difficult extractions of severely broken down teeth, or impacted wisdom teeth, you will be referred to an oral surgeon for optimal care.
